Brain Dump 2

If you’ve seen this page before, it’s when I did the first brain dump. This is a simple way to unload my brain, clear my thoughts, and say my thanks.

First of all———whew, I’m still reeling from the start of school. I have just now got some sort of hang of things-and it’s about to be September.

I am a first year teacher…..and it’s pretty much Amazing!!! With a huge capital A!!!

I have missed the gym for the 3rd week in a row, simply because there isn’t enough time in the day to do it all. And dinner with my husband is just what I need after a long day! But Jess I’ve sooo missed our weigh lifting!!!

I’m way behind on dog grooming- my poor baby is starting to look like the mop from the laundry closet.

I can’t wait to get back behind my lens and shoot some artsy things.

Every day I say a prayer for my friend Terrill. As I read her progress in Rehab after the accident I pray god continues to give her strength for each day in Rehab. Patience that her left leg will catch up, just wait..she will be up and running. And Smiles- for everyday that presents a new challenge, may she face it with a smile and then conquer it as well! We love you T! I hope to see you soon.

Once again-back to missing Mom and Dad and Ash. Now that school has gone full swing- the moments of each day pass tooo quickly. There is hardly time to do a catch up.

School Days

So here we go!!! Pics of my classroom. My brain is being over loaded with lots and lots of new info- like: duty days, detention days, dress code, uniforms, grading scale, new voicemail, lesson plans, school dances, parental concern, tests, homework, tests and so much more!!! Lots of new information…..lots of energy and lots of fun

And here are the changes I’ve made!!! Lots more color, and tons of organization. Since I’m teaching Math to 6, 7, and 8th graders…..I had to keep it “big kid” and easy.  But they have to know that MATH ROCKS!!!!

And this is a picture of our new SMART board!! It’s a really cool…I’m still learning it, but it’s connected to a computer and has full access to video’s, the internet, and lots of great Math software!!

My dad got into painting, and both of my parents are into contemporary styles! Our house in Mandeville is quite colorful

A new journey

I apologize to all my new fans of my blogging site, I have been way behind.

My world is in turns at the moment. Justin and I are praying and praying for a friend of ours who accidently dove off a dock in very shallow water. I have been consumed with what she must be going through and I have been praying that she make a strong recovery.

I also just accepted a job with St. Joseph’s School as their new Middle School Math teacher! I will be teaching Math and Pre Algebra. I am very excited to get into a great routine and meet all of my new students!!! I am also thrilled to be working for my new pricipal. I will definetley be putting all of my energy into making this school year everything I can possibly imagine!

On another note- I miss you Mom, Dad, and Ash. 4 whole days is not long enough to last me until at least after school starts. I wish you could be here to help me decorate my first classroom. You both have know what a dream come true this is for me! I know since I was 14 that this is where my heart is! I just wish I could have to here to see a movie with or go to dinner on the weekends. I am lucky that you are only 5 hours away but I am 10x sadder that i can’t have you here at all times! I love you. I love you.

Have fun at the beach this week, I wish I was there with you!!!

We are Praying

Dear Terrill,

 Not a moment has gone by when we haven’t said a prayer for you. Justin and I are were speechless when we heard what had happened. Every day we pray for your continued strength, we pray for your doctors, and we pray for your smile. I check my email every morning for your updated progress in the wonderfully kept journal……..what a great way to keep us all updated!

Justin and I can’t wait to see you again really soon! And we know in no time you will up on your feet dancing with joy!
